Poor kiddo has an ear infection. He gets a little clingy, but otherwise doesn't complain too much. The downside, though, is the impact on his social life. He stayed home from church today (and he always looks forward to going and "playing with other kids"). As we ate lunch, he saw some of the local kids walking by outside... Salt in the wound!
"Can I take all my medicine and then feel better and then run and play with them? Does that sound good, Daddy? THAT SOUNDS GOOD, DADDY! Can I have the orange medicine, Daddy?"
"Sorry, buddy, that's not how the medicine works. It takes time..."
"Can I have more medicine, Daddy?"
