Me: Yup!

N: Why doesn't it not have milk in it?

Me: Yucky!

Noah: but do you think they'd like it if I ate them?

Noah: Then I could do fun things... Like ride things! And get squirted by a dragon!

Noah: Yeah!

Me: Where?

N: If you see the black car, that's where we parked!

One day I was serenaded the whole car ride home from Ferndale...

"The farmer and the dell" slowly morphed into

"The farmer and the wall" and then

"The farmer nod the whale"...

"The farmer and the bread"...

"... And the yellow"...

"... And the blue/red/all the different colors/black"...

"... And the harp"

Noah sees a greeting card with the picture above on it on our table.  He picks it up.  He stares at it hard.  He slowly carries it over to me.
Noah: Is this a picture of me?
Me: What do you think?
Noah: Yes!
Me: Does it look like you?
Noah: Yes!  It's me!

So, Noah makes us laugh.  I'll share a series of comments/conversations so that he can make you laugh, too.

One day, after going to the doctor's office, he asked Libby if she needed to look in his ears.

Libby: Your doctor already did!

Noah: How did they look?

L: Okay.

N: Okay?!?!  Not great or fabulous or wonderful?!?

And she's off!

The time of having a sweet, innocent, immobile baby has come to an end...  Amaya has progressed to actually being able to make progress when crawling, rather than pushing herself backwards.  What does that mean?  Re-babyproofing the house...  constant supervision... baby gates get closed again...  Things just got kicked up a notch in terms of taking care of Amaya!

Amaya is 6 months!

Here is a sneak peek of our recent visit to Savannah... And our 6 month old baby girl!!

She recently weighed in at 15 lb 2 oz and measured 26.5 inches!

What could be more exciting than underwear?  Finally, that's the question on the elder Egle child's mind!

Before Amaya was born, Noah had ALMOST made it to being fully potty trained.  His rebellion when she was born, though, came in the form of potty training regression... All the way back to diapers.

The picture above is just outside his bedroom door overnight last night: his big boy underwear that he and his mother laid out, ready for him to put on in the morning!  10 days recently with no accidents, and he's earned the right to try big boy underwear!  I'm honestly not sure who's more excited - Noah or his parents - but it's a happy day nonetheless... Certainly worthy of a blog post!

Yes, we're still here

Computer woes have besieged the blog, and we haven't posted in months... All are well, though. We are working on the computer issues.  More pictures/posts to come soon!
