Happy Birthday, Noah! (Just a tiny bit late)

Noah is still a year old, so I don't feel too bad that this post is just now going up... Maybe I should feel more guilty, but I think whatever resentment you have will go away once you see how cute he is...

So, of course we had a party for him. He helped with all the planning. He made the guest list. He decorated. He planned the venue. He found recipes on-line. He went grocery shopping.

He really liked bringing the groceries in. Some were easier to manage than others.

As you can see, we've taught Noah the proper techique of lifting. He always bends at the knees and doesn't lift from his back. I guess being the child of people in the healthcare field has an advantage every now and then.

Noah's party, of course, had the hottest guest list in town. Among those lucky enough to get past the bouncers was Justice. Well, I guess that was a no-brainer. He's a big kid. The bouncers were probably more than just a little intimidated.

The place was bouncing... The music was blaring. It was a non-stop dance party. Just see for yourself.

Noah was at the center of it all. He ate up every second of the attention he got. And like the good little boy he is, he eagerly shared all his new toys with his friends.

And what birthday would be complete without cake... cupcakes, actually!

Wipe the drool off your face and keep reading.

And of course, Noah planned activities for the grown-ups as well.

Happy people... scary pumpkin.

Not so scary pumpkin...

That knife is as big as she is... that has "future surgeon" written all over it.

And at last, all the guests left, and Noah finally got the chance to fully enjoy all of his new toys. Of course, he didn't mind sharing, but let's be honest... sometimes it's fun to not have to compete with other kids when you want to go up and down your slide, and pretend to be a doctor, and bang a drum, and draw on your Magna-Doodle, and play with balloons, and read your books, and ...
