10/11/10... Not 5/22/10. His birthday is in October. If it HAD been 5/22/10, he'd be two today, and we would be fully prepared to anticipate some terrible-ness. No, I'm not trying to call Noah terrible, but he can be stubborn these days. It's been challenging/interesting/frightening, now that we actually have to start imposing some parental discipline. He's not the sweet, complacent naïve baby he once was...
He has a new favorite word - one that has surpassed "purple," and one at doesn't make us grin quite so broadly when he says it:
There is a small amount of redemption - a silver lining to our cloud, which gives us hope that the battle is far from over. We are making small progress with teaching him manners, too.
Stay tuned to find out if his pronunciation of "thank you" gets better, or if his ability to talk with a mouthful of food does :-/
